He is an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in cocktail program development, bar direction, and front-of-house leadership in some of Vancouver's most respected restaurant groups. He is also a capable and passionate cook, with a genuine appreciation for food, flavour, and the way a great meal and a great drink can work together to create a memorable experience.
Derek has been involved in Vancouver's modern dining scene during a period of rapid evolution, contributing to venues that emphasize neighbourhood-driven hospitality, strong cocktail programs, and a refined but welcoming atmosphere.
